Linda knows Northern New Mexico. She has lived, worked and prospered there for the past thirty years, and now brings her life experience to bear in her work at Dreamcatcher Real Estate. She has been a mortgage loan office manager, held both real estate and insurance licenses, and was the executive assistant at Angel Fire Resort. She has worked in local government as deputy city clerk. For seven years she served as assistant to Dr. Victor Westphall, founding director of the Vietnam Veterans National Memorial. Karen Karay has been in New Mexico for 16 years. Escaping the swell of the San Francisco Bay Area, where I spent my childhood and became a mother, I recognize northern New Mexico as home. In CA I studied Accounting. Along with babies came a 4-year internship in midwifery, which included political lobbying. Later, I worked at Apple Computer as an OS test engineer (just before Jobs came back!); owned and operated a costume and dancewear company; engaged in various theater-craft; and have been Creator/Director of Lifeskills Community Classroom - a New Mexico Private School. My children and I located to Taos the summer of 2000 after 9 years of chopping wood and carrying water in central New Mexico. We grew most of our food in a 48-foot greenhouse, had lots of animals and learned to build adobe. My Real Estate license came on the heels of relocating here. I have a broad-spectrum of knowledge and experience that you can have confidence in. Margy has lived in Northern New Mexico for 26 years. She and her husband have owned a Construction business (Lorien Construction, Inc.) for 22 years, he as Contractor and she as Office Manager. They raised their two grown children in Taos. Margy was also the Office Manager for a small private school, as well as, Secretary of the Board of Directors for the school. She has gotten to know Taos from both the business and family points of view. Margy is in charge of the Property Management division at Dreamcatcher, as well as, the overall management of the front office.
